My wife and I just had new windows installed so we needed new treatments to finish it off. John Kells the owner of A Shade Above was referred to me from my brother in law who just had John do work in his home.

I am a very particular person that wants things done right, nice and neat. John passed the test. He was here when he said he was going to be, walked us through the option's and had a great selection to choose from. He did an awesome job installing plantation shutters for the windows across the front of our house as well as motorized Roman shades in the master bedroom. He was very detailed with his work and had everything cleaned up when he was finished. He did a great job and I can't say enough how much I appreciate seeing someone take pride in their work especially when working in my house. I would highly recommend A Shade Above to anyone wanting window treatments in there home. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish!

I would highly recommend John and A Shade above. I called John to get an estimate on shades for the front of my home. John arrived as scheduled and walked my wife and I through the different type of shades that would work best. John listened to our questions and we never felt pressured. We were provided an estimate the day of and an install date. John arrived the day of install and did a quality and clean install. It should be noted I have used big box retailers in the past to order blinds. John brought a specialty feel from start to finish with a competitive price.

John was wonderful to work with. Knew exactly what I wanted and explained difference with each company product. Helped me decide which would be best for my home.
